Under a canopy of trees, it is natural for me to feel grateful. Nature seems to lend me gratitude when I am in it. Being in nature is a soothing experience for many of us. We can give ourselves the opportunity to be present, to breathe, and to be grateful. And that naturally reduces our stress levels.
Beautiful, scenic nature can be its own meditation when we choose to slow down and bring our awareness into our moments. We can choose to release any stress we have gathered in our bodies. We can choose to focus in on all of the beauty around us.
Even if you live in the city, plan some time away into the beauty that is nature. It comes in all kinds of wondrous forms in all parts of the world. Take an adventure into nature and refresh your spirit.
