An Attitude Of Gratitude

“Count your blessings.  A grateful heart attracts more joy, love and prosperity.”  ~ Cheryl Richardson

Gratitude can be life changing.  This exercise can honestly make your life better and fuller.

Take a moment every day to write down, or consciously think about, five to ten things that you are grateful for.  List whatever comes to mind – even if it is the very basics of life (food, clothing, shelter).

Remember to do this daily.  Especially when you do not want to.  Make it a habit.  Do it at the same time every day.  If you miss a day, jump right back in and start again right away.  Keeping a gratitude journal is a great way to do this.

Living gratefully can change your life.  Give it a try.

Remember the little things – dipping our toes into the water, a lovely cup of tea, the taste of fresh fruit, the way the sunlight hits the trees, the sounds of a child’s laughter.  There is beauty all around us when we take the time to look for it.

What are you grateful for today?
