How do you talk to yourself? How do you talk
about yourself? What do you say to yourself out loud? What do you say to
yourself in your head? Are you nice, compassionate, patient, and loving to
yourself with your words?
Our relationship with ourselves sets the tone for
all the other relationships in our lives. Listen to your self-talk today. What
kind of words are you using? Could you be kinder, gentler, more loving? Could
you be more forgiving toward yourself?
When we stop to consciously notice our thoughts,
we can begin to change them. We can begin to see ourselves in a new, positive
way. There is absolutely nothing wrong with being our own support team. We
can work miracles when we believe in ourselves.
Let it start with our self-talk. Let’s be kind to
ourselves today.
